What we collect

The booking and contact forms on this site ask for some or all of:

Your name, phone number and email address
Your dog's name, breed or coat type, and size
A preferred date, and the service you are asking about
Coat condition and handling notes, when you choose to tell us
Anything else you write in the message field

If you book by phone or in person, we keep the same information plus a note of the blade and length used at each groom, so the next visit matches without asking twice.

How the forms on this site actually work

This is a demonstration build with no live backend attached to it. Submitting a form on this website does not send data anywhere: nothing leaves your browser, and the confirmation you see is generated locally on the page. A real booking or enquiry is taken over the phone, by email, or in person on Bower Lane, and it is that exchange this policy describes.

Why we collect it

To take and confirm a groom, style consult or puppy visit booking
To keep a groom record: the blade, length and any handling notes for next time
To contact you about a booking if something changes on our end
To respond to a general enquiry or piece of feedback

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to any third party
We do not run third party advertising trackers or analytics scripts on this site
We do not use cookies for tracking; this site sets none
We do not share handling or behaviour notes beyond the groomers who need them to work with your dog safely

Groom photos

We sometimes photograph a finished groom for our own record of the blade and length used, so a repeat booking matches the last one. These photos are kept with your dog's record and are not published or shared without asking you first.

How long we keep it

Booking and groom details are kept for as long as they are useful for future visits and for our own record keeping and tax obligations, then deleted. If you tell us you are not returning, we will remove your record on request.

CCTV

Bower Lane and the salon floor are covered by CCTV for the security of staff, clients and the dogs in our care, in line with standard practice for a shopfront on a public street. Footage is not published or shared except where the law requires it.

Access and correction

You can ask what personal information we hold about you and your dog, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@fringeandfur.com.au or writing to us at Suite 2, 8 Bower Lane, Subiaco, Subiaco, WA 6008. We will respond within a reasonable time.
