We stop. You collect a part-groomed dog and are only charged for the time worked, and we try a shorter booking next time.

The whole thing, run the way Chloe used to run a cut and colour: comb-out and consult, wash and blow-dry, body clipped or scissored to the length agreed at drop-off, face and feet hand-finished with blunt-tipped shears, nails, ears and pads done, and a final brush-through so nothing is left sitting in the coat. One dog is on the table at a time, which is why we book fewer of these a day than a high-volume salon would. If the shape you want is not achievable on the coat you have brought us, we say so before we start and give you a plan to get there by the next visit.
